Barbara Hood, 80, of St. Louis, Mo., passed away 12:05 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at her home.
A graveside memorial and burial of ashes will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro with Father Slawomir Ptak officiating.
She was born June 24, 1937, in McLeansboro, the daughter of John Howard Hood and Lucille Emma (Hutchcraft).
She was a sales rep for Canadian National Railway System and a member of St. Louis Basilica.
She is survived by her sister, Diana Ragan and husband Randall of McLeansboro; niece, Ramona (Ragan) Dial and husband Scott of McLeansboro; nephew, Bryce Ragan and wife Angela of McLeansboro; stepmother, Mildred Hood of Cleveland; and stepbrother, Rich Kozlovich.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, is in charge of arrangements.
