Bob Clark, 64, of McLeansboro, passed away 6:09 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born Jan. 21, 1951, in McLeansboro, the son of Virgil Eugene and Hazel (Russ) Clark. He married Shirley E. Butler on Aug. 28, 2006, in McLeansboro. He is survived by wife, Shirley Clark of McLeansboro; mother, Hazel Clark of McLeansboro; two sons, Jeremy Clark of Springerton and Travis (Jennifer) Clark of Christopher; three stepsons, Joseph Butler of Ukiah, Calif., Jeremy Hodys of Joliet and Brian (Cassie) Hodys of Homestead, Fla.; daughter, Krystal (John) Morris of Whittington; brother, Gary (Nancy) Clark of Sugarland, Texas; and grandchildren, Josh Woodrow and Ashley Tharp, Dale Tindal, Payton Clark, Makayla Tope, Tylar Glasco, Cheyenne Morris, Emma Morris, Tyler Jacobson and Jayda Oleson. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday at Harre Funeral Home with the Rev. George Biby officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, west of McLeansboro. Visitation was held Sunday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. He worked in maintenance and was employed by General Tire. He was a member of Macedonia Methodist Church. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Elks Children Care. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
