Donald Little, 65, of McLeansboro, died 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Paxton, the son of William H. and Jewell (Hicks) Little; his mother survives in Littleton, Colo. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Ron Little and wife Carol Jean of Catasauqua, Pa., and Richard Leon Little and wife Susan of Nathrop, Colo.; and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; his partner, Randy Ogden; and son, Craig Brian Little. He was a florist. Mr. Little was a protestant by faith. He was enlisted in the Illinois National Guard from February 1970 to February 1976. He loved to bowl, decorate cakes and loved working with computers. There will be no visitation or funeral service for Mr. Little. His personal request was to be cremated. A private family memorial service and burial of ashes will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro. Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
