Ermal Daily, 80, of Romeoville and formerly of McLeansboro, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at her home. She was born March 20, 1935, in McLeansboro, the daughter of Charles L. Ingram and Rosa Ollie (Manning) Ingram. She married James Daily; he preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Randy Daily and wife Kathleen of Lemont and David Daily of Romeoville; one daughter, Becky McGowan and husband Mike of Joliet; six grandchildren, Jeremiah McGowan and wife Lisa, Stephanie McGowan and fiance Tony Martinez, Jimmy Daily and wife Jenny, Elizabeth Daily and fiance Nick Pingel, Stephen Daily and fiancee Krystal Blaylock and Samantha Daily; two great-grandchildren, Jackson McGowan and Anneliese Daily; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her longtime companion, John “Grandpa John” Oxford; four brothers, John, Lee, Lloyd and Woodrow Ingram; two sisters, Dorothy Thomas and Pearl Biesecker; and one son, Charles Ray Daily. She was a homemaker. She was an active member of Romeoville Golden Agers. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. The visitation was held 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at Gholson Funeral Home. Burial was at Blooming Grove Cemetery near McLeansboro. Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all of the arrangements.
