Jason Pearson, 39, of McLeansboro, passed away 5:02 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, in Mt. Vernon.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at Harre Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Ragan officiating.
Burial will be at Baltimore Cemetery (Olive Branch), Wayne City.
He was born July 7, 1977, in Stanford, Calif., the son of Joseph and Mary (Frazier) Pearson. He married Angela Kay (Kaufman) on July 29, 2006, in McLeansboro.
He was crew chief for Dan Buchanan Airshows of Dayton, Nev. Jason flew ultra lights, built model airplanes (remote and control lined ), flew stunt kites, loved trail riding and was a member of Evansville "Jeepers."
He is survived by his wife, Angela Kay Pearson, McLeansboro; dog, Jake and two cats, Thomas and Baby; parents, Joseph and Mary Pearson, McLeansboro; sister, Diane Pickett and husband Rich, McLeansboro; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Kay Kaufman, Belle Rive; sister-in-law, Amy Butler, Dahlgren; brother-in-law, Anthony Kaufman, Belle Rive; large "Airshow" family; and several aunts, uncles and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted for the family at Harre Funeral Home.
Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, is in charge of arrangements.
