Jessica Dawn Talbert, 51, of Wayne City, died 5:41 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born Feb. 7, 1964, in Fairfield, the daughter of Jesse P.T. Hedden and Christina Kay (McGaha) Hedden. She married Ryan Delray Talbert; he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, April Peyton and husband Jarod of Dahlgren, Kassie Henson of Keenes and Amy Harris of Rinard; six brothers, Jesse Hedden of Galesburg, Chris Hedden and wife Fay of Sims, Russell Heifner and wife Deborah of San Antonio, Donnie Heifner of Wayne City, Bill Heifner and wife Twyla of Fairfield and David Heifner and wife Lisa of Geff; a sister, Stephanie Baker and husband Robert of Keenes; a stepfather, Roland Heifner and wife Brenda of Wayne City; a father-in-law, Ronald Talbert; a mother-in-law, Lorene Talbert; a brother-in-law, DeWayne Talbert; and three grandchildren, Dutch and Auburn Peyton and expecting granddaughter, Cameron in December. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Debbie Wilson; and a brother-in-law, Randel Talbert. She was a homemaker. She attended Olive Branch Southern Baptist Church in Wayne City. She loved to ride motorcycles, cook, camping and gardening. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Olive Branch Southern Baptist Church in Wayne City with the Rev. Leland Ganieany officiating. The visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Olive Branch Southern Baptist Church. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery (Baltimore) in Wayne City. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all of the arrangements.
