Judith Ann Myers, 72, of McLeansboro, died 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Peoria, the daughter of Floyd Otha and Thelma Josephine Glenn. She married Wendell Myers on Aug. 11, 1962, in McLeansboro; he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Brenda and fiance Chris Drysdale of McLeansboro; her mother, Josephine Glenn of McLeansboro; a sister, Connie Devore and husband Craig of Carmi; a brother, Mike Glenn and wife Sharon of McLeansboro; two grandchildren, Maci Endicott and Derek Endicott; a close friend, Jill Huffstuttler; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Myers was a member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church of McLeansboro. She loved to play with grandchildren and loved to go boating. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefrried officiating. Burial was at Blooming Grove Cemetery, McLeansboro. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2015, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services in Carmi and will be accepted at the funeral home. Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
