June Williams, 93, of McLeansboro, died 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born June 10, 1922, in Fairfield, the daughter of John F. Whitlow and Flossie (McCollum) Whitlow. She married Frank Williams on June 16, 1939, in Henderson, Ky.; he is deceased. She is survived by nieces; nephews; and special friends, Wesley and Brenda DeHart of McLeansboro. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Charlene Williams; three brothers; one sister; five infant still borns; and one infant son, Charles Franklin Williams. She worked as a waitress in area restaurants for many years. She attended Ten Mile Baptist Church. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Reverend Robert Sefried officiating. The visitation was held 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, until service time at 10 a.m. at Gholson Funeral Home. Burial was at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield. Memorials to the donor’s choice will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home. Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all of the arrangements.
