Nadine Curlock, 87, of Dahlgren, died 12:13 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born Dec. 10, 1927, in Hamilton County, the daughter of John Witters and Stella (Sink) Witters. She married Edward Dale Curlock; he preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Gary Curlock of Dahlgren; two daughters, Brenda Kennedy and husband Daryl of Mt. Vernon and Vicki Clevenger and husband Rusty of McLeansboro; three grandchildren, Robert Kennedy, Jamie Hart and Jody Gray; and three great-grandchildren, Kiersten Kennedy, Jalynn Hart and Hunter Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Charles Witters; and two sisters, Irene Sodders and Genevieve Proctor. She was a homemaker. She attended Dahlgren Methodist Church. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with the Rev. Gary Whipple officiating. The visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren. Burial was at IOOF Cemetery in Dahlgren. Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren is in charge of all of the arrangements.
