Pauline Glenn, 98, of McLeansboro died Monday at 9:45, July 7, 2014, at the McLeansboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in McLeansboro. Mrs. Glenn was retired from McLeansboro Healthcare Center where she worked as a rehabilitation assistant for many years. She was born on November 18, 1915, in Macedonia to Noble and Jewell (Benbrook) Reed. She married Carl H. Glenn, who is deceased. Pauline is survived by a daughter: Janet (Walter) Thorson of McLeansboro: one brother Maxie Reed and a sister Faye Sandusky both of McLeansboro. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Hamilton County Homemakers Extension and Webbs Chapel Methodist Church. Funeral services for Pauline Glenn will be July 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the 1OOF Cemetery in McLeansboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Ralph and Norman Reed and one grandchild. Memorials may be made to Webbs Chapel Methodist Church and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home who is in charge of all the arrangements.
