Ronald Lee “Ron” Kirsch, 58, of Crossville, died 10:23 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born April 4, 1957, in Mt.Vernon, the son of Martha Kirsch. He is survived by a son, Aaron Kirsch of West Salem; a daughter, Kiana Kirsch of West Salem; a sister, Linda Shaw and a brother-in-law, Gary Shaw, both of McLeansboro; a brother, Bernard Murphy and a sister-in-law Charlene Murphy, both of Galatia; a brother-in-law, Ray Murphy of Dahlgren; and 15 nieces and nephews, Richard Thomas, Paula Lawrence, Rachal Newman, Cory Murphy, Jason Murphy, Troy Murphy, Michele Wilson, Gara McKinney, Trish Rexing, Michael Shaw, Lisa Allen, Billy Wayne Horn, Brandon Murphy, Jeremy Murphy and Justin Murphy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Blackledge; and two sisters, Brenda Barnett and Bonita Murphy. He owned and operated AK Oil, LLC. He was of the Catholic faith. The visitation was held 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be private. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of all of the arrangements.
