Ronald Prince, 77, of McLeansboro, died 2:40 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016, at McLeansboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, McLeansboro. He was born Feb. 11, 1939, in McLeansboro, the son of Floyd Albert and Helen Virginia (Faulkner) Prince. Survivors include a son, Taylor Prince and wife Amanda of Madisonville, Ky.; two daughters, Tiffany Smith and husband Lucas of Johnsonville and Karen Napier and husband Bill of Indianapolis; two sisters, Louise Campbell of McLeansboro and Lois Jean Cox of Grayville; a brother, Larry Prince and wife Gail of Decatur; a companion, Pat Fuqua and children Lacy and Cory of McLeansboro; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Delores Schimming. Ron was self-employed and operated a TV repair business. He was Methodist by faith. Ron served in the U.S. Air Force. A graveside memorial service and burial of ashes will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Hopewell Cemetery, McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. For those who wish, memorials may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
