Shirley Rose Aydt, 79, of McLeansboro, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at the home of her daughter in Harrisburg.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, until time of funeral service at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro.
Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at Harre Funeral Home with Sister Ruby McDowell officiating.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McLeansboro.
She was born March 3, 1937, in Dale, the daughter of John Leslie "Pete" Johnson and Thelma Jewel (Satterfield) Johnson. She married Eldon Ray Nalley who preceded her in death in1993. She married Ralph W. "Fuzz" Aydt who preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2005.
She was a homemaker and loved to fish, crochet, read and play cards.
She is survived by three daughters, Sherree "Sissy Joe" Hankins and husband Bud of Eldorado, Melinda Kay Nalley and special friend Robin Wilce and Lee Ann Page and husband Bruce Allan of McLeansboro; one son, Gary Ray Nalley and wife Debbie of McLeansboro; two brothers, Dewaine Johnson and wife Joan of McLeansboro and Danny Johnson and wife Sandy of McLeansboro; one daughter-in-law, Vickie Nalley of Marion; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Foundation and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Danny Nalley; and sister, Carleen Bailey.
Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
