Vicki Lynn Williams, 56, of McLeansboro, died 5:29 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Good Samaritan Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born Nov. 25, 1959, in Chicago, the daughter of William Clyde “Bill” Williams and Barbara Kay (Bernard) Williams. She is survived by a son, Josh Williams and wife Ericka of McLeansboro; her mother, Barbara Williams of McLeansboro; a sister, Kelly Karcher of McLeansboro; a brother, Tim Williams and wife Debbie of McLeansboro; two grandchildren, Adyson and Callie Williams of McLeansboro; a niece, Hannah Karcher; a nephew, Connor Williams; a loving aunt, Gerri; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Williams. Vicki worked as a caregiver. She was a Protestant by faith. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at Harre Funeral Home with Pastors Ruby McDowell and Allen Spangerl officiating. As per personal request of the deceased, Vicki chose to be cremated. There will be a private family burial of ashes conducted at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home. Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, is in charge of all arrangements.
