Shirley Ann Crabtree, 77, of McLeansboro, passed away 11:20 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Pastor Jacob Gray and the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in McLeansboro.
She was born June 18, 1940, in McLeansboro, the daughter of Fritz Gunter and Irene (Gaede) Gunter. She married Paul Leslie Crabtree on Nov. 7, 1959, in Kankakee. He preceded her in death.
She was an antique dealer. She attended Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She loved collecting antiques, decorating and shopping. She attended McLeansboro Township High School, business college and modeling school.
She is survived by one sister, Myrna McGill of McLeansboro; two brothers, Fritz Gunter Jr and wife Kay of McLeansboro and Billy J. Gunter of Stager; and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Paul; and brothers, Marion and George Gunter.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home.
